The left can’t mentally model the right because the main issue for the left is anti oppression. They can only treat the right the way they currently do if they beleive they are an actual threat. So they have to dehumanize them otherwise their own political ideology would have to take these people into account. Keeping the right as an active actual violent threat is the only way the left can hold on to power and push their agenda forward.
I was a radical leftist for many years. I do hold anti oppression as a core value- it’s why I ultimately left the left because they became authoritarian and oppressive to achieve an end that I could no longer support and looked nothing like the world we had worked towards prior to 2012ish.
Not being a threat just means “the right” is weak. No wonder they let the left take control over the entire culture for the last 4 decades. People who only want to be left alone will never be left alone. I consider the left an existential threat to my children & any means of subjugating them is justified. There’s no live & let live with tranny story hour.
