This is so amazing , I always thought you aren't allowed to discuss Jewish intelligence or how they out achieve every other group. The Collins cover a ton of subjects I've secretly wondered about for decades but never hear anyone else hit them.
The idea that Ashkenazi Jews are best at verbal IQ testing does not hold up to reality. Ashkenazi Jews are way overrepresented in STEM subjects, especially math and physics, where verbal ability is not paramount. Many science concepts require advanced visual ability and critical thinking.
Ron Unz did a piece on that years ago showing this is mostly due to nepotism, not merit. Holding a position in a system controlled by your nepotistic group only proves your relative advantage inside your group. They let their own best and some mediocre ones from competing groups as contrast through, but overall achievement declines.
In most sciences today you need the position to get the funding for the lab, the experiment, the survey. Hogging on all the good positions will prevent other groups from making discoveries and cloak the nepotistic's group mediocrity. When anglosaxons ran the system they were on top. Now "the West" gets overtaken by their competitors.
So who runs Harvard etc.? Who runs the publishing business? And thereby indirectly the Nobel prizes (as they determine your significance by looking at publications)?

What difference does it make? It is obvious that you are a follower of Unz. You can not accept that Ashkenazi Jews are way overrepresented in intelligent endeavors. The reason for the anti-Jewish narrative of Unz is agent provocateur or deep self-hatred. Unz, in the past, has claimed an IQ of 214, which is ridiculous. Jews are by no means God's chosen people, far from it, and many seem to be very low in integrity and empathy, and high in narcissism.

Ron Unz is a strange guy. For whatever reason, he denigrates his ethnicity. I do not consider him an expert on Jewish IQ.

I do not consider a position Ashkenazi Jews hold as proof of their intelligence. I consider their scientific discoveries...their accomplishments.
