In this thought-provoking episode, we dive deep into the often misunderstood philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, exploring his ideas on the immorality of weakness, the concept of the Ubermensch, and how they relate to modern issues like woke culture and tribal morality.
This was amazing, fascinating and often hilarious, and sparked a lot of thoughts. Vis a vis the goals of the Collins institute to help the less fortunate thrive, it could be very productive to hear you converse with Freddie deBoer, who has written extensively and insightfully about the educational system's perversely misguided approach to this social problem. DeBoer is a committed Marxist so his perspective is based on that, but is, for the most part (there are notable topic area exceptions), an open- and nimble-minded thinker and so I hope would be willing to engage. Though I despise his marxism I do honestly believe deBoer deserves your status as a "live player."
Simone, special thanks to you for correcting the pronunciation from Niche to Nietzsche, that was teeth-grinding. Next, be careful that Ubermensch doesn't become Ubermunch, I beg you.
