I asked my 9 year old daughter this question and she said “It wouldn’t matter because I would have a gun.” Which I think is the objectively correct answer.
I had a Facebook friend that I actually know (I discount strangers on the internet because they could be AI. I only take something seriously when it’s people I actually know) say that she would rather be murdered by a bear than be tortured and kept alive by a man. And how traumatized she was from her past experiences with men. And I’m like but the question wasn’t who would you rather be attacked by, it was who would you rather run into in the woods. But people are emotional and this is their way of expressing themselves. And our culture has allowed too many bad men to get away with victimizing multiple victims and that is legitimately a huge problem.
